Granite

Highly durable, heat resistant and can be custom fabricated with nearly invisible seams. Granite has become one of the most popular surface choices.

Pros:    Durability – Heat Resistance – Low Visibility Seams – Large Slab Sizes

Cons:   Must be sealed to prevent stains

Marble

Ageless and classic, yet softer than granite. Marble makes an excellent surface, however, care must be taken to prevent scorching, scratches, stains and acid etching. Great for bathrooms!

Pros:   Durable – Low Visibility Seams – Large Slab Sizes

Cons:   Can be scratched – Must be sealed – Fewer color options

Quartzite

Harder than Granite, Quartzite is an extremely durable surface material.

Pros:     Durability – Heat Resistance – Low Visibility Seams – Large Slab Sizes

Cons:     Requires sealing

Quartz / Engineered Stone

Man made from crushed Quartzite and a mixture of epoxy resins and pigments. This engineered material is a remarkably versatile.

Pros:    No Sealing Required – Uniform Color/Patterning

Cons:     Heat Resistance – Extremely hard to repair surface – Smaller Slab Sizes
